The cave bath of Miskolctapolca can be reached from Miskolc by bus, car, bicycle on cycle path or on foot. The Tavas cave was transformed into a cave bath in 1959. Swimming in the pleasant thermal-water (temparature 24-31Cº, average 30Cº), enjoying the clear air is a very special experience. Thank to the curative climate and warm karstwater, the cave bath has a positive effect on several illnesses. The water is not as concentrated as other waters, so you can bath all day if you want. The services are constantly growing. New caves are being explored, outdoor pool, jacuzzi, saunapark, vapour-cabine, solarium and individual treatments enrich the services.
The beautiful park with rich flora is situated in the walley.

Contraindication because of the cave-environment

• Asthma bronchiale,

The bobtrack was built into the woody area next to the summer entrance of the cave bath. 33 bobs can roll down on the track, that was built by private investors. The winding track has a level difference of 50 m and a length of 800 m. A building with buffet, bathroom and lounge is also available.

The park is closed when it is raining.

The Miskolctapolca Adventure Park opened its gates in July 30, 2005. The couses have been fixed on an environmental-friendly way, so the trees were not harmed. There are 2 course systems: a blue one (easier) and a red one (complicated). The 2 systems include 26 courses. The blue courses have a height of 3,6 m and the red courses have a height of 4,9 m. They provide wood bridges (e.g. Vietnam bridge, swinging bridge, Amazonas bridge). Special belts and other security facilities are provided. The visitors are guided by professional alpinists. The easier courses can be finished in about 30-40 minutes, while the compicated ones takes about 60-80 minutes. All visitors receive a document with a photo. 50 persons can be on the track in the same time. Children are allowed to take the journey from the minimum height of 130 cm.
